The apartment had a strong urine smell, and considering the price, the size was small, with the remaining two bedrooms being tiny. The staff inside the hotel were friendly and helpful, although I initially had trouble finding my tour operator's check-in booth at half past 8 at night.

The location is spectacular, with superb views of the lake and great local villages to walk to for gelato, beer, and dinners, despite being above a busy restaurant. However, the area is dirty and scattered with cigarette butts.

The hotel definitely needs a major renovation in the rooms as they were dirty and not suitable for a family with children. The service was slow during check-in despite having to manage hyperactive kids. The location, although convenient for exploring nearby towns, lacked proper management for pool reservations. The dining experience offered a decent variety but could be improved. Overall, the property requires investment in facilities and maintenance.
